On 6th May, Prof. Jozef Bergier, the Rector of Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education in Poland, paid a visit to our Rector’s Office, accompanied with Agnieszka Monika Kaliszuk, the Erasmus Institutional Coordinator of Pope John Paul II State School of Higher Education.
They took great interests of extending the academic cooperation between two universities. They also met with Erasmus Exchange students from Poland who are studying at our Tourism Management department.
Prof. Filiz KILIÇ warmly welcomed them and gave an introduction to the university’s status, operations of scientific and academic infrastructures, progresses in internationalization and international cooperation work. Both sides thought it was significant issue to discover possibilities to enhance working as partners in terms of co-operated research and education.
At the end of the visit, both sides agreed to extend the cooperation and an Extended Erasmus Bilateral Agreement was concluded which is supposed to promote the dialogue and academic relations between both universities in the frame of ERASMUS Exchange Programme.
