Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVÜ) Erasmus Institutional Coordination Office is pleased to announce an internship opportunity for our students at CEIP Balaídos, a public primary school located in Vigo, Spain.

Students who are interested in gaining international teaching experience and improving their professional skills in an intercultural environment are encouraged to consider this opportunity.

Internship Details

Host Institution: CEIP Balaídos, Vigo, Spain

Position: Assistant Teacher (Internship)

Duration: 3 months

Working Schedule: 3–4 days per week

Financial Support: No financial compensation is provided by the host institution.

About the School

CEIP Balaídos is an Infant and Primary School educating children between the ages of 3 and 12. The school focuses on environmental education and sustainability by integrating nature into the curriculum through projects such as vegetable gardens, science laboratories, outdoor learning activities, and the Zero Waste Programme.

The school collaborates with local institutions to promote sustainable education and offers trainee teachers the opportunity to become actively involved in these initiatives.

Internship Responsibilities

During the internship, participants will have the opportunity to:

• Support teachers in classroom activities.
• Assist with environmental education and sustainability projects.
• Participate in nature-based educational activities and outdoor learning.
• Help organize activities for international visitors and partner schools.
• Contribute to the dissemination of good practices related to the school's Zero Waste Programme.
• Share their own culture and educational experiences with pupils and staff.
• Gain practical experience in the Spanish and Galician education system.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students to develop their teaching competencies, improve intercultural communication skills, and gain valuable international experience.

Eligibility Requirements

• Level of Studies: Bachelor's Degree
• Language Requirement: English (minimum B2 level)
